Surrounded by his loving family at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 of John Charles MacDonald; aged 69 years of St. Peters Bay, P.E. Devoted husband to Shirley (nee MacKinnon), and loving father to Paulette (Jason Sheppard), and Troy (Madalene Rodgerson). He will be forever missed by his grandchildren Kaitlyn (Curtis Zippel), Madison, Emma, Ella, Sophie, and great grandchildren Aubree and Stella. Special Poppy to Ashley, April, Amy, Amber, Abbey, Avery, Peyton, and Breyanna. Survived by sisters Lillian Allen (Brian), Lynn Larkin (Danny); brothers Donnie and George (Michelle). Special brother-in-law to numerous in laws, and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Charles and Betty MacDonald; sister Pauline and brother Ronnie. A visitation will be held at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Peters Bay Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. If so desired, donations can be made to PEI Cancer Treatment Centre or St. Peters Fire Department. www.dingwellfh.ca
