Frances “Fran” Maclean

On Monday, June 18, 2018 Frances “Fran” MacLean, of Summerside, aged 91years passed away peacefully with family at her side. Fran was a force that had great love for Jim, Florida winters, Chelton Beach her children, grandchildren and the church. Born in Tyne Valley, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Edith (Maynard) MacKay. Survived by her children Linda (Randy) Hubley, Doug (Jill) and John (Maggie); grandchildren Ryan (Lisa) Hubley, Amanda (Clint) Lightsey, Morgan (Kristen) Hubley; Clark, MacKenzie, Karlee and Keaton MacLean; great-grandchildren Aniston and Braiden Hubley, Lennon Lightsey, Karsen Hubley; sister Shirley Gibson; a brother Roger (Lou) MacKay; sister-in-law Gail MacKay; and by a host of good friends. Predeceased by her husband James “Jim” MacLean; sisters Jean Gervais, Bessie MacNeill, Stella Craig; and by brothers Bill and Lester MacKay. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Mary’s Anglican Church would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
