Finn Maclean

It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our beautiful newborn son Finn Justin Boyd MacLean at the IWK Hospital in Halifax on August 23rd, 2018. After being born, Finn fought with incredible strength, only to pass 30 hours later in the arms of his heartbroken parents and family. Finn is survived by his loving parents Justin and Alison (MacLellan) MacLean of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, his grandparents Bruce and Cathy MacLean of Stratford, P.E.I., and Joe and Kristen MacLellan of North Wiltshire, P.E.I. Finn will also be greatly missed by his great grandparents Jim and Mary Sherren of Stratford, P.E.I. and Marjorie Sexton of Falmouth, Nova Scotia. He will also be forever remembered by his many aunts, uncles and cousins: Erin, Levy, Marcus, and Penelope Bedo of Sydney, Nova Scotia. - Brent, Gorica, Luka, and Talia MacLellan of Waterdown, Ontario. - Lauren and Parker MacInnis of Summerside, P.E.I. - Matt, Daniele and Clara MacLean of Emyvale, Prince Edward Island. - Mary Ellen MacLean of Toronto, Ontario. - Bethany MacLean, David Allen, and Noah of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and - Andrew MacLean of Stratford, Prince Edward Island. Our family wishes to express our eternal gratitude for the wonderful kindness, empathy, and dedication shown by the physicians, nurses and other support staff at the IWK Hospital during this difficult time. A private, family Memorial Service for Finn will be held at Atlantic Funeral Home, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Donations in Finn’s name can be made to the IWK Hospital.
