Elizabeth Louise (Betty), nee Howatt Maloney

Peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 1. Born in Charlottetown, PE in 1929, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen and Harold Howatt. She was predeceased by her husbands James Howard (Jim) Maloney (2015) and Ira Stewart Banks (1953) and her brother John Reginald (Jack) Howatt of Ottawa. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Verna and Freda Banks and brother-in-law Don Wand. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Rick (Nadia), Stewart (Brenda), Patricia, Barbara (Mark), Shelagh, and Brennan. She was a special Babi to fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, on Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. Messages of Condolence may be left at www.beechwoodottawa.ca
