Claire Marie Gallant

Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2018 of Claire Marie Gallant; aged 60 years of St. Charles, P.E. Dear sister to Ernie Gallant, and special aunt to Chauntelle and Cody. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Charlene Gallant, and many special friends both near and far. Also to mourn her loss are numerous counsins, and her special cat Missy. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Florence Gallant, and close friends Carter and Heather MacKenzie. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 3-5 p.m., and 7-9 p.m., and August 21, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. A wake prayer service will take place before visiting hours at 2:30pm, followed by at Legion service at 6:30pm. Everyone welcome. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Donations in memory of Claire can be made to the Souris Legion or PEI Humane Society. In honor of Claire, we wish to celebrate her life in same way she lived hers, with vibrancy. Brightly colored attire is encouraged for guests at all services.
