CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - A short stretch of warm weather in P.E.I. is coming to an end today as temperatures are expected to drop to around -12C tonight.
Environment Canada is forecasting periods of rain this morning then a mainly cloudy day with a 60 per cent chance of showers.
Fog patches will end this morning and about two millimetres of rain is expected.

Temperatures will fall to around zero this afternoon with flurries amounting to up to two centimetres in some areas.
The cold weather will continue until the weekend when temperatures are expected to climb back up around the freezing mark.
