Less than an hour after a two-vehicle collision on the HIllsborough Bridge, a second collision has occurred.

The initial two-vehicle collision happened just after 5 p.m. closer to the Stratford end of the bridge. The RCMP said the easbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway heading out of Charlottetown was congested and advised anyone heading toward Stratford to expect delays.

Shortly after 6 p.m., police tweeted again to say that a second collision involving two vehicles had occurred on the bridge. This time the collision happened on the Charlottetown side, but affected traffic in both directions.

Drivers were advised to expect delays once again.

More information will be made available as it's released.
