A 40-year-old man who has never retained a driver’s licence since it was revoked more than 20 years ago keeps getting behind the wheel and breaking the law.
Herbert Garth Bromley pleaded guilty Thursday to driving while disqualified on Dec. 21.
The Crown seeks jail time as a deterrence to Gormley who has 43 prior convictions, including numerous ones for driving while disqualified. Gormley also owes more than $14,100 in outstanding fines.
Gormley has been without a legal driving licence since it was revoked in 1997.
