CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The theme of this year’s Gold Cup parade is “P.E.I.’s Got Talent,” and in order to showcase all those skills some traffic disruptions will be necessary in downtown Charlottetown on Friday.

Drivers are reminded to use extra caution when travelling in the city before, during and after the parade, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and end around noon.

Parking will be prohibited along the entire parade route from the early morning hours on Friday until the conclusion of the parade. Vehicles parked in the no-parking zones will be towed at the owner’s expense, without notice.

Gerard (Turk) Gallant and Mike Kelly of the Vegas Golden Knights will lead the parade as the official parade marshals and the many of the parade floats will celebrate the talented artists, performers and athletes of P.E.I.
