Motorists travelling around the area of downtown Charlottetown today can expect a few delays.
Traffic Advisories have been issued for the following areas for impacts on Friday, June 22.
Great George Street, between Water Street to Richmond Street will be reduced to one lane alternating traffic for the day for paving, beginning at 7 a.m.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or consider alternate routes. Sidewalks in this area will remain open.
Water Street, between Queen Street and Pownal Street, will have temporary restrictions between 8-10 a.m. This is for a sidewalk replacement. Traffic control personnel will be on site.
Weymouth Street, between Kent Street and Ole king Square, and Kent Street, between Hillsborough Street and Weymouth Street, will have temporary restrictions throughout the day due to curbing work. Traffic control personnel will be on site at all locations.
The Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience to the travelling public.
