TIGNISH — For a second month in a row, Tignish Town Council commended West Prince RCMP for its level of service. That follows months of demands, expressed during council meetings, for an increased RCMP presence.

During Monday’s monthly meeting, council members told Staff Sergeant Derrick Hewitt the force is doing a good job, with councillors suggesting the visible presence is making motorists adjust their driving habits.
