A teenage driver on P.E.I. has been issued multiple tickets for, among other things, driving 70 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.

At around 4 a.m. on Saturday on Route 1 in Stratford, RCMP clocked a vehicle travelling 140 km/h in a 70 zone.

The youth was issued multiple Highway Traffic Act tickets for speeding as well as other violations. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
