A public information meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1, to discuss proposed residential development on and near Clyde River Golf Course.
Public input is welcome on an application to subdivide parcels of land into five lots each.
Provincial staff and the developer will be available to answer any questions.
Last year, the provincial government amended the Planning Act Subdivision and Development Special Regulations for existing golf course developments inside the Special Planning Areas.
In general, the amendments allow for the subdivision of residential lots associated with an existing golf course and/or adjoining lands under the same ownership.
The change allows for the development of no more than five lots per parcel, exclusively for single family dwelling use.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at River View Community Centre at 718 Clyde River Rd.
