Repairs needed on Upton Road after truck collides with pole

A portion of the Upton Road from the industrial park to the Maypoint roundabout was temporarily closed to traffic Friday afternoon. 

It's suspected that a truck’s overhang caused the power pole to snap in half.

Crews from Maritime Electric were on the scene to make the repairs, while a portion of the Upton Road, from the Maypoint roundabout to the industrial park, was closed to traffic for about an hour.
