Tara Stewart, Milltown Cross, and her pups raised more than $200 for Bark for Life, an annual event that joins hundreds of dog owners together to help fight cancer, with money raised going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

This year’s event brought in $22,890, bringing the total amount raised since the event’s Island debut in 2014 to more than $115,000.

All monies raised will stay in P.E.I. where funds are allocated to programs which include sending children to camp, cancer care kits and Wigs for Women. Every penny benefits Islanders and their families going through a cancer journey.
