A 33-year-old Charlottetown man and a 49-year-old North Rustico man are facing drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop in Summerside Friday.

The Prince District Joint Force Operations Unit, comprising of RCMP as well as Summerside and Kensington Police members, arrested the two men after a quantity of methamphetamine and hydromorphone pills were seized.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
