A man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries following a collision Thursday between a motorcycle and a transport truck in New Annan.
Rodney Hickey, Kensington Volunteer Fire Department’s deputy chief, said his crew was called for assistance at about 3:50 p.m. They were there mostly to help direct traffic around the crash.
The crash happened on Route 2, near the east end of the Cavendish Farms plant.
Hickey didn’t know the extent of the motorcycle rider’s condition, but did say the man was able to speak with paramedics on the scene.
Traffic was directed around the scene for about a half hour.
