CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – One person is in custody and police are searching for a second suspect who was allegedly involved in an armed robbery in the city on New Year’s Eve.
Charlottetown police responded to the robbery complaint on Spring Park Road that Sunday night at 10:20.
The incident involved two men, including one who was armed with a machete, said police.
Officers were able to arrest one male suspect Jan. 1. The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident and the second suspect to contact them at 902-629-4172.
