CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – A young woman faces charges of impaired driving after reports that she drove over some city soccer fields.
Charlottetown police received the complaint Monday afternoon about a vehicle driving on fields at the Sherwood Soccer Complex.
Officers located the suspect vehicle on Bambrick Drive and determined the driver, a 19-year-old woman, was impaired.
The accused woman will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
