The City of Charlottetown’s Wintertide Holiday Festival kicked off Friday night with the annual opening ceremony and tree lighting in Charlottetown. 

Special guests included Father Christmas and the Confederation Centre Youth Choir.
 


The events are co-ordinated by the City of Charlottetown, community organizations, groups and residents. The festival also includes thousands of lights presented in seasonally themed displays around the city.
