Slippery conditions and frozen vehicle wiper blades are the order of the morning but Environment Canada is predicting a mix of sun and cloud before rain moves in after midnight.

The special weather statement about possible rain warnings is no longer in effect, but rain is predicted to come very early Wednesday.

The Confederation Bridge today is currently open to all traffic but there is a warning that restrictions for high-sided vehicles because of high wind may be need anytime between 11 p.m. tonight, through to noon tomorrow.

All flights arriving to and departing from Charlottetown Airport are showing to be on time.

On P.E.I. today, early morning temperatures ranged from a high of +1.4 at East Point, to a low of –7.4 in Maple Plains.

WEATHER TODAY:

    A mix of sun and cloud. Becoming cloudy this afternoon with good chance of flurries late this afternoon.

    TEMPERATURE: Holding at 0 most of the day.

    WIND: Becoming east, gusting to 40 this afternoon.
