CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Cold temperatures will continue today before P.E.I. gets a brief reprieve with a few days of warmer weather.

Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures hitting around -10C today with a mix of sun and cloud.

Tonight, temperatures will dip to around -14C before warming up to around freezing tomorrow.

Snow could change to freezing rain or ice pellets tomorrow afternoon.

Today - A mix of sun and cloud. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40. High -10. Tonight: Partly cloudy. Becoming cloudy near midnight. 60 per cent chance of flurries before morning. Low -14.

Tuesday - Snow changing to freezing rain or ice pellets in the afternoon. Snow and ice pellet amount 5 cm. Wind becoming southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 in the afternoon. High zero. Night: Freezing rain or rain. Windy. Low -1.

Wednesday - Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers. Windy. High 5.
