Islanders could be in for a messy day with Environment Canada forecasting snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and rain into tomorrow.
Temperatures are expected to climb through the day to reach highs of around 3C tonight.
Snow could begin this morning before changing to ice pellets or freezing rain this afternoon and amounting to five centimetres.
Freezing rain or ice pellets will change over to rain tonight with fog patches developing.
Rainfall amounts of around 10 millimetres are expected as temperatures reach highs of around 7C by morning.
Tomorrow’s temperatures will drop back down to around -1C in the afternoon and reach lows around -10C overnight.
