A vehicle collided with a tractor near Oyster Bed earlier today.
Queens District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Sept. 14. where a vehicle travelling south on Highway 6 collided with a tractor pulling a potato harvester.
There was extensive damage to the southbound vehicle, but the lone driver sustained only minor injuries.
Island EMS and New Glasgow Fire Department were also on scene and assisted with transporting the driver to the Queens Elizabeth Hospital.
Police said neither alcohol nor drugs are factors in the incident.
RCMP remind drivers to use caution when driving in the rural areas, and during the harvest time be aware that farm machinery may be on the roadways.
