UPEI Sports Hall of Fame accepting nominations

UPEI’s athletics and recreation department is looking for nominations for the school’s sports hall of fame.

The deadline for nominations is June 23 at 11:59 p.m.

The UPEI Sports Hall of Fame recognizes people who made significant contributions to the athletics programs at UPEI, Saint Dunstan’s University or Prince of Wales College.

Individual athletes, teams and builders will be inducted Nov. 9.

The hall of fame, in co-operation with the university’s archives, is also accepting donations of sports memorabilia related to the school on a year-round basis.
