About 950 graduates made their way across the stage at UPEI on Saturday.

Two convocation ceremonies were held at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, with each ceremony being preceded by a procession of graduates across campus.

Honorary degrees went to lawyer and advocate for UPEI, Bill LeClair; UPEI founder, booster, and volunteer Anne (Michael) Love; humanitarian, public servant, and business leader Wes MacAleer; and, business woman, community leader, volunteer, and mentor Anne Smith. LeClair addressed the morning convocation, while MacAleer addressed afternoon graduates.

The valedictorians were Nathan Hood (business) in the morning convocation and Alana Jewell (science) in the afternoon convocation.

Macebearers were Celeste Desveaux (veterinary medicine) in the morning and Matthew Coleman (science) in the afternoon.
