SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Lloyd Phillips, 55, of Tyne Valley, has pleaded guilty to one count of failing to verify the weight or volume of his catch with a dockside observer, in contravention of his halibut fishing licence.

The charge is from Sept. 27, 2017, at Milligans Wharf. 

Phillips was fined $2,500 and forfeited $797.40 from his catch. His licence was also suspended for one year.
