CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Traffic disruptions are possible on several Charlottetown streets on Tuesday.

Kent Street, between Hillsborough and Weymouth streets, will be reduced to one lane of stop-and-go traffic for the day, weather permitting. This closure is necessary for milling. Sidewalks in the area will remain open. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.

Great George Street, between Water and Richmond streets, will also be closed for milling in the afternoon, weather permitting. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and there will be no parking available on this section of the street. Drivers are advised to expect delays or consider alternate routes. Sidewalks in this area will remain open.

Construction will continue on Kensington Road, between Riverside and Woodward drives, all day.

Access to Kensington Road from Riverside Drive (travelling towards downtown Charlottetown) will be accessible until 9 a.m. Beginning at 9 a.m. Kensington Road will be closed to outbound traffic (travelling from Charlottetown) between Riverside Drive and Woodward Drive.

In the afternoon, that portion of the road will be closed to inbound traffic (travelling into Charlottetown).
