Wesley Lenard Jehn, 19, appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Georgetown where he entered a guilty plea.
The court heard an RCMP officer saw Jehn’s vehicle in a grocery store parking lot on June 22.
Jehn was asleep in the driver’s seat, and the vehicle’s lights were on.
He later provided breathalyzer samples that were above the legal limit.
Jehn’s lawyer told the court her client didn’t plan on driving that night.
Along with the jail time, Jehn must pay a $1,000 fine and a $300 victim surcharge.
He is banned from driving for one year.
