More teams are being sought for a charitable golf tournament later this month at Glen Afton Golf Course.

Tournament organizer and course owner Merina Currie says registration has been a bit slow for the 2015 Annual Harley Currie Memorial Golf Tournament Sunday, Sept. 27.

Proceeds from the tournament will help the development of four-year-old Island girl, Vaeda Zo Matheson, who has Cerebral Palsy.

The money will also aid the lives of other children by helping them move beyond pain and limitation.

The cost for the tournament is $140 per two-person team.

Participants have a shot at winning a car and a 2016 Glen Afton membership.
