Const. Jonathan Kennedy of Summerside Police Services was passing by on his patrol rounds when he noticed the boys outside playing. So he stopped to play a few games with Caleb Adams, George Gallant and Ryder Howatt, who were enjoying an unseasonably warm day.

Caleb’s parents were impressed that Kennedy would take the time to stop and interact with the kids so they snapped some photos and sent them to the Journal Pioneer.

“They were very excited that he took the time to stop and hang out with them,” said Shawn and Carrie Adams in their message.

“We, as parents, were so impressed with him stopping and taking an interest in the positive activity that goes on within the City. Far too often the police service just has to deal with the day-to-day negatives of policing - so this was a great initiative by a role model for our kids.”
