A Stratford couple has discovered that happy endings do come true.
Kyle Simpson and Kristie Thebeau have been named Canada’s Cutest Couple by Weddingbells Magazine.
After taking part in a national online contest, they have won $12,000 in prizes, including an all-inclusive trip for two to a resort in Mexico, and $5,000 worth of products from Charm Diamond Centres.

They’ll also have their wedding featured in the Real Weddings section of Weddingbells.ca
“It’s quite an honour. We are grateful,” says Simpson.
But what’s really astounding is how many people supported them.
“Everyone shared our story on Facebook. Everyone wanted to help us out,” says Simpson.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Weddingbells asked engaged couples to submit short videos on why they are Canada’s most adorable twosome. So Simpson and Thebeau created a two-minute video detailing why they thought they were the most charming couple in all of Canada.
Then, while the entries began pouring in from across the country, they waited at home, holding their breath.
Winning the contest means everything to the young couple, who plans to marry in Clinton Hills on June 26.
“It’s a really big thing for us. We just finished building our house. And that meant we had to get our funds in order. That took away the possibility of a honeymoon. So winning a honeymoon is huge for us,” says Thebeau.
