Stratford offers many local programs, businesses, services, volunteer opportunities and community initiatives in need of resident participation.

“Our vibrant community thrives on the support and involvement of our residents and, in turn, we hope to enrich residents with the unique offerings of the Stratford community,” says Mayor David Dunphy.

“Our key resolutions for 2017 are to continue to improve and evolve our sustainability initiatives, to engage our residents to ‘think Stratford’, support local and to promote our road safety strategy, all in an effort to keep our members safe, supported and surrounded by the best possible community environment.”

Community members wishing to become more involved may be interested in volunteering for the Snow Angels program, which provides limited snow removal services on a casual basis for residents in need.

The Town of Stratford also challenges residents to think not only of what they can do to help the community, but also of what the community can offer, in helping them to achieve their New Year’s goals, whether they be related, for example, to health, fitness or wellness.
