A 41-year-old Milton Station area resident has been charged with possessing prohibited weapons following a search of a downtown Charlottetown business Wednesday evening.

Charlottetown Police Services, along with the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, conducted a search of BLADEZ  on University Ave.

As a result of search police seized a quantity of prohibited weapons and charged

The accused man will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services are continuing their investigation.
