Police seize oxycodone, gun, and cash in Jan. 6 raid in Summerside

More than 500 oxycodone pills, a firearm, cash and marijuana have been seized by police following a Jan. 6 raid.

A 56-year-old man was arrested and is facing numerous charges after members of the Prince District Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Drug Unit and the Summerside Police Service executed a search warrant at a Summerside residence.

A 56-year-old man was arrested and is facing numerous charges after members of the Prince District Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Drug Unit and the Summerside Police Service executed a search warrant at a Summerside residence.

The accused was released and will be summonsed to Summerside provincial court at a later date.

The Prince District JFO Drug Section is comprised of officers from the Kensington Police Service, Summerside Police Service and the Prince District RCMP.
