Katelyn Ann Jennings of Charlottetown is facing several charges for an alleged stabbing in Caledonia early Sunday morning.
The 26-year-old woman appeared in provincial court in Charlottetown Monday for a show cause hearing. She is being charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of breaching probation.
Jennings was arrested after police found a 27-year-old man in a Caledonia residence who had allegedly suffered injuries from a knife and a beer bottle.
The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
Jennings was released on an undertaking and will appear in provincial court in Charlottetown May 3.
