Eric Peter Pirch appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr recently pleading guilty to impaired driving.
The court heard that a passerby noticed Pirch’s truck stopped and still running in the middle of the road.
After the passerby woke him up, Pirch proceeded to drive his truck into a snow-filled driveway, falling asleep again.
Upon the arrival of police, they noted the smell of alcohol, as well as his glossy red eyes and slurred speech.
They also found an empty liquor bottle and a bag of green material in his truck.
Pirch does have a prior impaired driving charge from 2005.
In addition to incarceration, he was fined $1,500 and $450 in victim surcharges. He is also prohibited from driving a motor vehicle for one year.
