Some young Islanders made new friends at the Confederation Centre Public Library last week.

A storytime hosted by Island Hill Farm saw a mix of reading and learning about animals when Flory Sanderson, of Island Hill Farm, brought along a few goats and bunnies.

Sanderson chatted with kids about the animals and read them a few stories.

The library also hosted the P.E.I. Humane Society the day after the storytime for a session teaching kids how to care for animals.
