No change to P.E.I. gas prices June 1, but small adjustments to cost of diesel and propane

The cost to fill up the gas tank remains unchanged at the end-of-the-month petroleum price adjustment from the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.

Pump prices for regular, unleaded gas at self-serve outlets still ranges from 132.3 cpl to 133.4 cents per litre.

There is also no change to the price of furnace or stove oil, but there are some changes to diesel and propane.

Diesel prices increased by 1.5 cents per litre as of today at 12:01 a.m. Pump prices for diesel will range from 137.7 to 138.8 cpl.

Propane prices, meanwhile, have increased by 0.9 cpl for Superior Propane, by 2.0 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc., and they have decreased by 0.4 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing. Maximum, before-tax propane prices will now range from 79.5 cpl to 83.0 cpl.

The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on June 15.
