Man under a court ban against driving, drives past P.E.I. police officer

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – An off-duty RCMP officer saw a man drive past, and knew that man was under a court order not to drive.

It happened in Charlottetown, so the RCMP officer called the city police department.

As a result, Charlottetown Police Services arrested a 48-year-old Charlottetown man who is now charged with disobeying the court order.

The man will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
