Dominic John David Walker pleaded guilty Tuesday to a rash of thefts from vehicles and homes.
The crime spree took place between Dec. 22 and Jan. 3
Walker pleaded guilty to breaking into cottages and summer residences in New London and Rice Point, stealing numerous items and causing considerable damage.
In one case, restitution of more than $4,000 is being sought by one cottage owner where Walker sprayed the interior with a fire extinguisher.
He also hurled a paint can against a wall, causing a large hole and splattering the wall and floor with paint.
Restitution could be a challenge as Walker already has an outstanding balance owing of more than $17,000 from past crimes.
He stole a wide variety of items from vehicles and homes during his two weeks of crime in Stratford, New London and Rice Point.
Numerous gift cards were pocketed, including $450 worth from one vehicle alone.
He stole a pellet gun, shot gun shells and a camouflage jacket.
He nabbed several pairs of sunglasses.
Walker also pinched fishing gear, a jacket, a suitcase, light bulbs, an Android box, snow shoes and poles.
In addition, he pleaded guilty to uttering a threat to a former employer after claiming he was owed money. He threatened to have a couple of men pay a visit and do great harm.
He will be remanded in custody awaiting sentencing May 4.
