KENSINGTON, P.E.I. – Students from Kensington Intermediate Senior High school’s new Health and Wellness Committee now have permission to use the town’s gym facility free of charge, under certain restrictions.

The students had asked to use the Fitplex gym at the Community Gardens Complex in order to help familiarize them with the equipment and encourage healthy living.

Council has agreed to allow free access to the facility from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, under the stipulation that a school staff person be present to supervise.
