The province is looking for feedback on housing needs across P.E.I.

Islanders are encouraged to help guide the provincial housing strategy by completing an online survey at www.princeedwardisland/housingstrategy until Feb. 2.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete, and responses are confidential and anonymous.

Paper copies of the survey are also available at Access P.E.I. sites across the province or by calling the Department of Family and Human Services at 902-368-6185 to have a paper copy mailed.

Family and Human Services Minister Tina Mundy said feedback will be used to help government craft a provincial housing strategy.

Earlier last fall, the province also assembled a co-development team of housing experts and clients to help create the housing strategy. A housing supply task force was also established to inform the work of this team and identify innovative approaches to address housing challenges across the province.

The provincial housing strategy is expected to be completed this spring.
