Island man bites Charlottetown nightclub bouncer, spends night in jail

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with assaulting a doorman at a Charlottetown nightclub.

The incident happened at an establishment on Kent Street on Monday morning around 1:45.  

The man allegedly bit the bouncer on the arm, leading to the assault charge.

Officers took the man, a resident of Glengarry, into custody.

He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
