Free home heating fuel for select Prince County residents

Applications can be made for free fuel from the Salvation Army’s Home Heating Program Friday in Tignish and Souris.

There are about 200,000 domestic oil tanks in Nova Scotia.

Applicants from Prince County may apply between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the town hall in either municipality.

Applications are available to P.E.I. residents facing hardship in meeting home heating expenses.
