The discovery was reported to the Cornwall and Area Watershed Group. Staff from the government department of Justice and Public Safety and Communities, plus staff from the department of Land and Environment went to view the site yesterday.

Today, they will be back at the site along with federal government staff on P.E.I. from the department of Environment and Climate Change.

Water, soil, vegetation, and fish samples are being collected to be sent for testing, said a notice issued by the P.E.I. government.
