STRATFORD, P.E.I. ­– A fire Sunday morning has destroyed the home of a family here.

A woman and her adult son and daughter had to flee their home from a fire reported around 8 a.m. Sunday that caused major damage to their bungalow at 2 Pondside Crescent,  says a statement issued by the Canadian Red Cross.

A team of volunteers from the Red Cross team has arranged emergency lodging, food, clothing and other essentials for the three people.

It reports there were no injuries reported from the fire.
