WEST DEVON, P.E.I. – A Nine Mile Creek man faces impaired-driving related charges following a single-vehicle rollover in West Prince on Thursday.
RCMP responded to the crash site on Route 12 in West Devon just after 5 p.m.
Police say a pick-up truck with two male occupants was travelling south on Route 12 when the driver lost control and crashed into a ditch, with the truck coming to rest on its roof.
The driver was not injured, but his passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The 32-year-old driver was arrested at the scene and later provided breath samples of more than double the legal limit for alcohol.
He was released from custody and will appear in Summerside Provincial Court in February to answer to the charges.
