Staff with the City of Charlottetown are busy preparing for Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy legislation (FOIPP) which comes into effect in April 2019.

The human resources committee said staff has begun to update the website with all current contracts and agreements.

Currently, they come down from the site once the tender is closed. Staff will communicate with the finance department about the possibility of creating an archive section for closed tenders on the page.

With regards to the door-to-door campaign for the city’s alert system, over the past month and a half there has been an increase of 18 per cent in subscriptions.
