CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Construction will continue on Kensington Road between Riverside Drive and Woodward Drive on Thursday.
Access to Kensington Road from Riverside Drive (travelling towards downtown Charlottetown) will be accessible until 9 a.m. Beginning at 9 a.m. that portion of the road will be closed to outbound traffic (travelling from Charlottetown). In the afternoon the secrion will be closed to inbound traffic (travelling into Charlottetown).
Drivers should expect delays in this area and travel different routes if possible.
The closure is necessary for paving.
Paving will also take place at the intersection of Mount Edward Road and Belvedere Avenue on Thursday, with stop-and-go traffic throughout the day. Sidewalks in the area will remain open.
Curbing work continues on Kent Street, between Hillsborough street and Weymouth streets. Traffic delays should be expected in this area. Sidewalks will remain open.
